Sizzling hot! SEXXXY and suspenseful! If you liked 50 Shades, you'll love this. If you hated 50 Shades, you'll love this... real plot, believable characters, humor, AND sex!

It started with an innocent email. It was supposed to be a fun reunion. How dangerous could it be to go out to dinner and go to a baseball game with an old friend?

Pyrotechnics anyone? Gabrielle Verdeal is a successful software designer who goes in search of a brilliant classmate years after school ends. Two worlds were about to collide, and two people are thrown headlong into a passionate affair that neither could have imagined.

Money and sex and love can change people, and sometimes it's hard to know who is telling the truth. What she finds is more fulfilling and more frightening than anything she ever imagined.

Truth is stranger than fiction, and as the main chararacter says at the beginning of CAPTURING THE DREAM...This is a true story.

First, the protagonist Gabrielle had me hooked from the second page. As the author introduced other characters, they flowed well into the story. If I could have done so, by the middle of the story I would have stepped inside the book to be a part of it, just to be near Gabrielle. The author filled the pages with enough details to make me believe I was there. No spoiler, but the end of the book contains a gaff, not a hook, a gaff, the kind they use to land big fish on charter boats. Thoroughly enjoyable, I am going to download the sequel when I finish this review.
Second, if you commonly skip the prologue, DON'T ! The prologue is an important part of the book! Without reading the prologue, the time line could be confusing. Written from the viewpoint of a woman, this burly old biker learned a few things about women. Normally, I read the five-star and one-star reviews before I purchase a book. I always find it odd that at least 70 percent of one-star reviews contain a phrase such as "I couldn't finish it" or "I only skimmed" (Yes, I know the punctuation is misplaced.) Of course, after that, the reviewer goes on to offer a comprehensive review about a book they didn't completely read. No doubt, those one-star reviewers will complain about" jargon, over used or trite expressions, colloquialisms, and fragments. IGNORE THEM! Capturing the Dream stands on its own ( Yes, I know that's a reflexive pronoun) two feet, with them. If the characters speech had been that of an English major, it would have taken away from, rather than added to the book. (Yes, I know the word "rather" is vague diction.) Loved it! (Yes, I know that's a fragment.) Ready for the sequel, good-bye ( (Yes, I know that is also a fragment.)
